The Show notes option is especially useful for Podcasts with lots of extra information such as the show’s website or transcript.

Another important part of this tab is the settings that control how multiple Episodes are handled during the downloading process. It is worth experimenting with these settings to see which ones work best for your system.

The third tab is where you manage your subscriptions. This is where you can see the lists of all the Podcasts you have subscribed to, as well as add a new Feed or delete a current one. You can also export an OPML file (a format for Podcast RSS Feeds) of your Subscriptions so that you can import them into other Podcast programs such as Apple’s iTunes.

The final Tab is where you can see how much space your podcasts are taking up on your hard drive. You can also clean up your computer by deleting the older files that are no longer being used. This Tab also offers some technical information in a text box that can be Copied and Pasted like any other piece of text on your computer. This is very valuable for troubleshooting if you suspect that a specific Feed is not functioning properly. You can enable this Log Tab by checking the option at File / Preferences / Advanced (tab) / “Show log tab in application”.
